The Role of Storytelling in Writing Non-Fiction– FREE Workshop

GWW offers free lectures to the New York metropolitan area throughout the year. There is no need to register for these lectures, but seating is limited.


Nan Mooney teaches memoir writing at Gotham Writers' Workshop. She is the author of the memoir My Racing Heart: The Passionate World of Thoroughbreds and the Track (HarperCollins), and I Can't Believe She Did That: Why Women Betray Other Women at Work (St. Martin's Press). Her work has also appeared in such publications as the Washington Post, the Daily News, Slate, the Seattle Weekly, and Hamptons Jitney Magazine.
