In Jane
May's debut novel we meet Miles, a handsome, cool, street savvy
Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, living large on Manhattan's Upper East
Side. He had some rough early years until his adoptive "pack" Jen & Rob
sprung him from the shelter, and now the city is his oyster. There're
walks in the Park, Chinese take-out and the occasional chance to
chew up whatever clothes are laying around.
There's trouble in paradise though, when Chloe, a sassy Dachshund,
and her human companion Valerie hit the scene. Maybe Rob's got
a wandering eye and Jen's not too pleased. Miles can see where
things are headed, so he has to use all of his doggy wiles to keep
Rob and Jen together and stay on the gravy train.
Who knows if Miles will succeed, but along the way he shows us
just what it takes to make love last doggy style.
Jane
May lives in New York City with a mutt named Miles she adopted
from the ASPCA who bears a striking resemblance to the intrepid
narrator of Doggy Style. She is hard at work on her second novel.
