GWW offers free lectures to the New York metropolitan area throughout the year. There is no need to register for these lectures, but seating is limited.

Douglas Light is the author of the novel East Fifth Bliss (Behler). His fiction has appeared in such literary magazines as Alaska Quarterly Review, Pindeldyboz, and failbetter, and in the anthologies O. Henry Prize Stories 2003 and Best American Nonrequired Reading 2003. He is a founding editor of the literary journal Epiphany. Douglas holds a B.A. from Indiana University and a M.A. in Creative Writing from City College, New York..
