Williams is the host of WBLS's “The Wendy Williams Experience” (107.5
FM) which airs every day in the coveted 2pm-7pm afternoon drive-time
slot, and she has been named “Radio Personality of the Year” by
Billboard, Radio and Records, and Black Radio Exclusive. She appears
several times a year on VH1 in a series called "Wendy Williams
is on Fire." Wendy is the author of The Wendy Williams Experience (Dutton
2004) and Wendy’s Got the Heat (Atria 2003) which debuted
at #9 on the New York Times Bestseller list.
A
correspondent for BET and the author of the novel Soul City, Touré's most
recent book is Never Drank the Kool-aid, a collection of his
magazine work, mostly for Rolling Stone, profiling such figures
as Prince, Eminem, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Al Sharpton, and Jay-Z. He's
also CNN's pop culture
correspondent and a contributing editor at Rolling Stone.
His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times,
Tennis Magazine, The Best American Essays, The Best American Sportswriting,
The Best
American Erotica, and DaCapo Best American Music Writing.

Notable authors discuss their newest books at the Bryant Park Reading Room, alongside 42nd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. Following the readings, the authors will sign books, for sale on site from Coliseum Books.
