Robert B. Parker

Blue Screen

Hosted by: Elizabeth Foxwell,
author of The Robert B. Parker Companion
and host of the radio show It’s a Mystery

Talk • Booksigning

Robert B. Parker returns with Blue Screen, his fifth novel in the celebrated Sunny Randall series. In Blue Screen, Sunny – the Boston P.I. with a personal life as tangled as those of her clients—is hired on as bodyguard to Erin Flint, an up-and-coming starlet. But very quickly, she discovers some ugly truths behind Erin’s spin-doctored façade.

"Parker can spin a tale with the best of them—most of the time, he is the best of them. He riffs smoothly off Sunny’s blue mood,”
— The New York Times Book Review

Robert B. Parker is the author of almost fifty books, including the recent Jesse Stone bestseller, Sea Change. He lives in Boston with his wife Joan.

Elizabeth Foxwell
is coauthor (with Dean James) of The Robert B. Parker Companion and has published nine short stories. She received the Agatha Award for Best Short Story for “No Man’s Land,” set in World War I, which appears in World’s Finest Mystery and Crime Stories 5 and Blood on Their Hands. An editor of several mystery anthologies, Foxwell is the managing editor of Clues: A Journal of Detection, the only U.S. scholarly journal on mystery and detective fiction, and hosts “It’s a Mystery,” a weekly program on mystery books and authors, on WEBR in Fairfax, Virginia.
