Mamapalooza is a nationwide network of mothers who play music, mothers who write, and mothers who perform.
Coliseum Books welcomes Mamapalooza's resident literary host Jamie Cat Callan, and numerous other mothers who do literary things, for a celebration of motherhood, literature and art.

Jamie Cat Callan has published short fiction in many places, such at the Missouri Review & Buzz, taught writing at NYU, UCLA and points between. Look for her new book in the fall of '06 Hooking up or Holding Out.
Andrea J. Buchanan is the author of Mother Shock: Loving Every (Other) Minute of It . She is also the editor of the anthologies Literary Mama: Reading for the Maternally Inclined, It's a Boy: Women Writers on Raising Sons, and It's a Girl: Women Writers on Raising Daughters.
Cassandra Neyenesch has written about visual art, fashion and movies for newspapers in East Asia and more recently book reviews for Kirkus Special Projects and the Brooklyn Rail. She's just finished her second novel, The Living.
Christen Clifford is performance artist who has published extensively, including Nerve.com, Salon.com and Bust magazine.
Catherine Newman is the author of Waiting for Birdy, a memoir of pregnancy and family life, published by Penguin.
Jean Hanff-Korelitz is the author of three novels, most recently The White Rose, published by Miramax. She also writes frequently for Vogue, Parade, Real Simple and many other magazines.
Patricia Hale's poetry has been published widely in literary journals including Poetry, Bellingham Review, Epoch, Quarterly West, and others. A Yaddo Fellow and Pushcart Prize nominee, she will be reading from 'Little Bird,' her non-fiction manuscript.
Jessica Denay is a former educator and single mom. A year ago she started the HotMomsClub in her own living room. Now it's a top mommy website, clothing line, book series and radio show. HotMomsClub has a huge following including celebrities like Kelly Preston, Lauren Holly and Holly Robinson Peete. The HMC has been featured on Insider and Inside Edition. and in magaiznes like LA, Parent, US and People.

Alana Free edits Mamapalooza's own lit magazine, The Mom Egg. She performs her original one woman show "Beginner at Life" around New York City..
